Most people looking for Korean food near Hyehwa Station leave Line 4 at Exit 4. Walk toward Daemyeong 1-gil. About two minutes, roughly 112 m. Address: 16-6 Daemyeong 1-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The sign says Hyehwa Dodam.
Lunch and dinner are not the same menu. Weekday lunch kimchi-jjim runs 11:00–14:00. Evening dishes start after the 15:00–17:00 break.
Lunch versus dinner
On a weekday, the one-person lunch kimchi-jjim is ₩11,000. Rice and banchan are unlimited at the self bar. There is a makgeolli service. From 11:30 to 13:00, orders are for two or more.
Dinner is after 17:00. Small kimchi-jjim for two is ₩24,000. Small pork galbi-jjim is ₩32,000. Daepa-jeon is ₩16,000. We close at 22:00; last dinner order 21:00.
